Just fired up my mini-split that Castillo AC installed in my home office last summer, it is amazing. These guys know their stuff. I contacted three potential providers: One guy quoted me an insane amount of money over the phone without seeing anything, one guy came to the house to assess for the quote and appeared to be overwhelmed, said he'd send a quote and I never heard from him, and Art came to the house, knew what he was doing, and gave a reasonable quote plus answered my zillions of questions about the process. If you need an honest professional AC company in this heat, call Castillo Heating & Air Conditioning and ask for Art. Period. I'm a senior on a fixed, come, and my A C died during the 106 degree heatwave. My house was 89 degrees inside. I was terrified of being scammed. Castillo changed everything. PROFESSIONAL FROM START TO FINISH 1. Communication was amazing. They texted me updates, let me know exactly when Art was en route, and even sent me a PHOTO of him for my safety. As a woman home alone, that meant everything. 2. Art is the owner with 43 years of experience. You can't fake that kind of knowledge. 3.No Surprises. Before he touched anything, Art confirmed the 75.00 diagnostic fee in writing and promised in writing that no work would be done until I saw a written estimate and approved it. He kept his promise. If work is done 75.00 becomes credit. THE REPAIR- Art diagnosed the problem quickly: A rusted capacitor. He explained everything in plain English, wrote up exactly what was needed and gave me the total cost before starting. Parts, labor and everything was under 400.00 cash out the door. Guaranteed! If you are a referral, you get a break. He had it fixed in about an hour. He was respectful, clean, kind and made sure I understood how to keep my unit running. Most important- My AC is blowing COLD AIR again. If you're scared like I was, call Castillo. Ask for Art. They treat you like family. Safety first and they do what they say they'll do.
